Manager, Quality Clinical
**Responsibilities** Under the oversight of the KS LS Sr. Director/Director and the Laboratory Medical Director, the Clinical Laboratory Service Quality Manager ensures the consistent quality, safety, and overall compliance of the KS LS Clinical Laboratory operations and the Patient Service Centers. This Manager must maintain compliance with departmental and organizational policies and procedures, as well as local/state/federal standards and regulations. The scope of this position includes monitoring of the Kelsey-Seybold Clinical Laboratory network to include the Patient Service Centers **Job Title: Manager, Quality Clinical** **Location: IBC Building Admin** **Department:** **Lab Services** **Job Type: Full Time** **Salary Range: $99,164 - $122,501 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)** **Qualifications** **Education** Required: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution Preferred: Applicable, advanced academic degree such as an MBA, MHA or related Laboratory discipline. **Experience** Required: 5 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in clinical laboratory setting or laboratory business setting. Preferred: 3-5-years’ management experience with regulatory compliance responsibility to include oversight of Compliance, PPM, and Waived certifications. **License(s)** Required: MLS ASCP or equivalent Valid driver’s license. Preferred: N/A **Special Skills** Required: Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills. Preparation and analysis of quarterly and monthly reports. Knowledgeable of waived, moderate, and high complexity test performance and quality control/ proficiency testing and monitoring. Familiar with billing and results distribution requirements. Preferred: N/A **Other** Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to deliver organized and concise presentations tailored to audience. Flexibility must be able to work extended shifts or weekends in situations deemed necessary by management. Excellent time management skills- ability to work independently and prioritize tasks. Effective leadership skills to include change management, staff and team development and project management. Ability to operate in high-pressure situations. Practical knowledge of routine laboratory equipment and procedures.
