Manager, Recruitment Programs Specialist

Make an impact:

The Manager, Recruitment Programs Specialist will manage a growing team of Recruitment Coordinators that support the recruiting process and experience of candidates across the globe for our Product and Technology recruitment teams. In this role, you will play a key part in bringing top talent into our organization.

In this role, you will:

Lead a geographically distributed team of Recruitment Program Specialists, supporting multiple divisions and functions, providing a best-in-class candidate experience.

Overall responsibility for ensuring the timely and accurate scheduling of candidate interviews.

Work closely with the Global Talent Acquisition leadership and Program Management teams to ensure that processes and tools in place, are adhered to across multiple regions, that the team is supported in meeting volume demands and that candidates and stakeholders receive exceptional service.

Manage a growing team of Recruiting Coordinators who span variable work shifts and support global requests, this includes assisting with day-to-day workload balancing, ensuring proper coverage, approving hours, and vacation requests.

Lead and participate in projects that impact the entire enterprise, focused on improving candidate experience and operational efficiencies.

Agile mindset: able to work in ambiguity and be comfortable with a fast-paced changing environment

Oversee the onboarding, training, and development of direct reports; as well as maintaining adherence to existing processes and proper use of tools to provide accurate reporting.

Ensure team is appropriately partnering with candidates, hiring managers and recruiters delivering exceptional customer service to these stakeholders.

Encourage skill and career development of the team, engage in regular discussions about employee goals and opportunities for growth.

Leverage metrics to manage the team’s SLAs (Service Level Agreements), individual and team performance, and goals to create consistency across each experience.

Partner with leaders and stakeholders in and outside of the region to efficiently manage the team, uncover challenges, process gaps and variations as well as proactively communicate any delays or challenges.

Act as an escalation point for resolving out- of- process requests, complying with existing protocols and feedback.

Experience and Qualifications:

An individual who has managed or supervised a team, preferably across multiple shifts; you understand the intricacies of meeting expectations, while valuing individuals for their contributions.

An action-oriented leader, who uses data to guide decision making; you know how to pull the data you need to make objective and fast decisions.

An individual who is process focused; the details matter to you and you consider the experience of those involved.

You’ve worked in the talent acquisition or operations space before, ideally having been an individual contributor yourself; allowing you to understand the realities of the role and how to balance the day to day with the larger picture.

You have strong written and verbal communication skills and are comfortable partaking in a healthy debate and collaboration with team members; you embrace the multiple perspectives of a global team and are comfortable engaging.

You value exceptional customer service, consistently considering the candidate experience; with the understanding that our candidates are also our clients and that we impact the Expedia Group brand.

An individual who is motivated to solve problems and improve processes creating added efficiencies that result in improved outcomes.

The total cash range for this position in Austin is $110,500.00 to $155,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $177,000.00 which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
