**Manager, Regulatory Affairs (Early Life Nutrition (ELN) and Medical Nutrition (MN))** **Kaiseraugst, Switzerland** **Hybrid** The Regulatory Affairs Team for Early Life Nutrition (ELN) and Medical Nutrition (MN) is part of the dsm-firmenich Business Unit Health, Nutrition, and Care (HNC). This team is responsible for mapping the global regulatory strategy and securing market access of the ELN and MN innovation pipeline. Our team thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic and high-performing environment, advancing the frontiers of novel early life and medical nutrition ingredients in close collaboration with the innovation organization and other functions of the company. As a highly international team, we are looking to expand our achievements by adding a full-time Regulatory Affairs Manager. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the ongoing success of our regulatory team and providing the regulatory affairs deliverables of the ELN and MN innovation pipeline. **DEI Statement** At dsm-firmenich, being a force for good is not optional. Equal access to opportunities is a given, belonging is a shared feeling, authenticity is celebrated. **Your key responsibilities:** + Alongside our regionally placed regulatory colleagues, support the innovation lead in establishing a regulatory strategy for novel ingredients and/or novel markets. + Lead workstreams in preparing global regulatory dossiers, product documentation, registrations, and technical documents. + Collaborate closely within the global regulatory team for Early Life Nutrition (ELN) and Medical Nutrition (MN), as well as with analytical and biology scientists and project leads, to gather necessary documents and datasets and identify gaps and risks. + Critically assess and review information, translating complex technical data into clear narratives and responses for authorities, in close cooperation with our technical teams. + Support data and document archiving relevant to regulatory applications and maintain regulatory databases. + Be part of the commercial launch team and provide supportive information regarding compliance and market access. + Provide support to customer requests made through the customer relationship management system CRM. + Provide ad-hoc support to the Regulatory, QA, Applications & Formulations, and commercial departments. + When appropriate, active participation in industry associations to drive dsm-firmenich positions and be informed on topics relevant to the specialised nutrition sector. **We bring:** + A rich history and a promising future of bold scientific innovation and passionate creation with our customers. + The opportunity to work for a company where sustainability is much more than a claim and is core to our strategy and purpose. + A flexible work environment that empowers people to take accountability for their work and own the outcome. + A space to grow by encouraging and supporting curiosity and an open mindset. + A firm belief that working together with our customers is the key to achieving great things **You bring:** + A Degree (minimum BSc) in a scientific discipline related to food technology, food science, chemistry, analytical chemistry, biotechnology, or toxicology. + 5 years+ work experience in the food industry, ideally in specialised nutrition including medical nutrition. + Experience in food regulatory affairs ideal + Experience with applications, registrations, or notifications of novel ingredients in multiple markets would be an advantage. + Experience in food biotechnology would be an asset. + Understanding regulations of infant nutrition and food for special medical purposes at local and international level. + Demonstrates excellent scientific, medical, technical writing skills. + Communicates effectively with diverse audiences and cultural backgrounds. + Proficient command of English is mandatory, with strong communication skills to effectively represent dsm-firmenich interests both internally and externally. + Excellent time management and collaboration skills are essential to thrive in this role. **Equal opportunities commitment** dsm-firmenich is fully dedicated to inclusion because when people feel engaged and empowered, their creativity and innovation drives unprecedented progress.
