Manager, Regulatory Reporting Technology

Note: This position follows our hybrid-friendly schedule, so you get the best of both worlds – flexibility and collaboration. In office days will be 2-3 per week averaging 10-12 days per month in our St Petersburg, FL Corporate Office.

Job Summary:

This Technology Manager (Manager, Regulatory Reporting Technology) will act as a partner with the Regulatory Reporting group in utilization of information technology to drive business and improve efficiencies. Extensive contact with all management levels and other internal customers is required to identify, research, analyze and resolve complex information technology issues. Manages a small team responsible for application development and modification and/or maintenance of applications and must be able to lead the Regulatory Reporting Application Support Team, supporting applications which include but are not limited to Axiom/Adenza/Nasdaq ControllerView application.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drives IT solutions to ensure they meet the business needs balanced with a pragmatic and integrated approach to the design of technical solutions.
• Understands and applies enterprise wide thinking to individual departmental requests for IT investments to ensure end-to-end process and data integration are achieved.
• Leads projects to successful completion as defined by predetermined project success criteria including those established by the business, capital expenditure and budget requirements.
• Works with vendors to implement off the shelf solutions as well as modified versions of their products
• Influences the prioritization of business unit technology projects, optimal project structure and project administration to ensure strategic business objectives are met and risk is managed.
• Focuses on workforce management to accurately capture IT resource capacity involving resources (internal and/or external), processes and practices.
• Develops and maintains development methodology (templates, processes and deliverables) and ensures all IT resources understand their responsibilities in this process.
• Partners with Architecture Team to assess how technologies can best streamline processes and/or add business value.
• Provides quick project turnarounds and flexibility by leveraging SDLC methodology and industry best practices.
• Remains up to date on key technology, business and industry trends.
• Develops budget/ annual goals and objectives; holds organization accountable for attaining goals and objectives.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of:

• Various Capital and Liquidity Regulatory Reports.
• Oracle/OFSAA.
• Oracle SQL.

Skill in:

• Report configuration in ControllerView application.
• Working with vendors for software solutions.
• Managing resource allocations and budget.
• Strong analytical and problem solving mindset
• Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills - oral written.

Ability to:

• Perform under pressure and be self-motivated.
• Dive deep into application design and architecture and/or the willingness.
• Collaborate with our business partners to understand and implement their requirements.
• Collaborate with technical and functional leads.
• Collaborate across functional areas with the other development managers in the department.

Education/Previous Experience:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or related degree and seven (7) years of relevant experience including management or leadership experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Must have Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) experience.
• Preferred experience with the following reports: 2052a,14 Q/A/M, Y9C, FFIEC 031/041, Y15.
• Financial Services experience preferred.

Licenses/Certifications:

• None required.
