Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience.

Knowledge and experience in data preparation, data analysis, and statistical tool sets including but not limited to SQL, Python, PowerApps and/or UIPath.

Consults on analytical solutions to address the data and business intelligence to enable high-quality, fact-based business decisions and
insights and optimize the user experience for BMO’s digital properties. Provides advice on the configuration, functionality, applicability, and
usability for technology solutions relating to data management, analytics, and visualization. Analyzes solutions and provides insights for
customer behaviour patterns and marketplace trends across desktop, tablet, mobile touchpoints. Supports the development of the strategy
and roadmap for data quality and data analytics, data modeling, reporting, business intelligence, and the design and development of
sophisticated decision support tools.

Acts as a trusted advisor to assigned business/group.

Influences and negotiates to achieve business objectives.

Identifies emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making.

Recommends and implements solutions based on analysis of issues and implications for the business e.g. site behaviour

metrics; tracking tags to provide information for performance measurement and reporting.

Supports the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Assists in the development of strategic plans.

Leads/participates in the design, implementation, and management of new analytics and reporting solutions.

Ensures alignment of business needs and data requirements between stakeholders.

Cleanses, manipulates, and transforms data through programming / scripting for model training and validation.

Conducts various pre-implementation and post-implementation analyses to estimate / measure business impact caused by

model adoption (e.g., revenue increase, cost reduction, corporate brand image).

Breaks down strategic problems, and analyses data and information to provide insights and recommendations.

Structures and assembles data into multi-dimensions with various granularities (e.g., demographics, customers, products,

transactions).

Builds change management plans of varying scope and type; leads or participates in a variety of change management

activities including readiness assessments, planning, stakeholder management, execution, evaluation and sustainment of

initiatives.

Leads or participates in defining the communication plan designed to positively influence or change behaviour; develops

tailored messaging; and identifies appropriate distribution channels.

Leads the design, development, and implementation of analytic solutions.

Automates validation tests to improve quality and efficiency of the validation process.

Validates and tests models used in analytics and reporting to assess / address performance and compliance.

Leads/participates in the design, implementation and management of core business / group processes.

Integrates information from multiple sources to enable more efficient processes, enhanced analysis and/or streamlined

reporting.

Designs, develops, and implements innovative analytical solutions and makes recommendations based on an understanding

of the business strategy and stakeholder needs.

Provides advice and guidance to assigned business / group on implementation of solutions.

Supports development and execution of strategic analytics and reporting initiatives in collaboration with internal and external

stakeholders.

Builds effective relationships with internal / external stakeholders.

Liaise with other internal data analytics, reporting, and business intelligence teams.

Analyzes data and information to provide insights and recommendations.

Develops tools, and delivers training programs for reporting tools and self-serve analytics carried out by non-analytical end

users; may include delivery of training to audiences.

Implements and maintains tagging systems that collect the data used to support detailed optimization.

Designs and produces regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboards.

Builds reports and visualizations that effectively communicate data driven insights to users for a variety of audiences (e.g.

visualization solutions of data into reports, graphics, dashboards to illustrate facts, trends, and insights).

Documents and maintains analytical and reporting operational procedures and processes.

Focus is primarily on business/group within BMO; may have broader, enterprise-wide focus.

Provides specialized consulting, analytical and technical support.

Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.

Works independently and regularly handles non-routine situations.

Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

Typically between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent

combination of education and experience.

Post-graduate degree in business, engineering, computer science or related discipline.

Knowledge and understanding of search engine marketing / optimization, digital sales funnels and conversion optimization.

Experience with data preparation, data analysis, and statistical tool sets.

Experience with digital measurement tools across multiple channels (e.g. web, social media, mobile, email, search).

Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience.

Salary:

$68,000.00 - $126,000.00

The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
