Manager, Retail Catering
Responsible for cafeteria point of sales. Prepares benchmarking reports, as part of department’s monthly dashboard data Monitors production needs for the cafeteria, catering and special events  Develops and implements retail plans to improve service, quality, and profitability of service areas.   Oversees sanitation of cafeteria, catering, special event areas and related work areas. Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements.   Recognizes seasonal celebrations and special events through coordination and implements of menu specials. Balances cash drawers and maintains sales records.  Prepares appropriate reports and maintains all cash handling and auditing standards.   Establishes systems and training programs to provide a safe working environment.  Leads supervisors through operational needs through use of department policy and procedures. Solicits customer feedback and suggestions regarding retail services.   Provides service recovery when needed.   Works with human resources to maximize team member engagement, training, and development. Responsible for recruitment, onboarding, and mentoring team members.  Attendance of conferences and professional affiliations to ensure retail practices and trends remain current.  Maintains effective communication and follow up with all leadership and team members. Responsible for all other tasks as assigned.
