The Manager, Sales is responsible for the development and execution of sales strategies in support of driving sustainable profitable revenue growth through all existing and new distribution channels in assigned market segment. This role provides leadership to enhance the company's position as a globally recognized and respected leader in assigned industries. This position will require effective leadership skills with responsibility for managing direct reports cross functional teams and shared resources.
What you will be doing Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets through the development and continual evaluation of sales strategies that effectively leverage the company’s established distribution channels and product solutionsProvide accurate visibility of forecasted revenue on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Provide leadership guidance to swiftly shift sales strategies as necessary to correct forecast variances to revenue targetsCoach and develop the assigned industry/product sales teams, with a focus on evolving best-in- class selling proficienciesAct as the leadership advocate for assigned team to ensure that sales strategies are well communicated and supported internally. Ensure tactical support so the sales vision is executed effectively within the organization through cross functional alignment with all departmentsIdentify new market segments that can be pursued across distribution channelsMaintain existing, and develop positive new, relationships with key customers, partners and industry leadersIdentify emerging market opportunities and new go to market strategies. Partner with Marketing to continuously update the overall marketing plan, including messaging for all stakeholdersManage individual HR issues, reviews and compensation plansManage staffing requirements including candidate review, interviewing and hiring processEngage in development of team members to ensure they form a foundation of knowledge and practices that will allow them to advance in their careerComply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland’s Information Systems Security Policy What will make you successful Bachelor’s degree or significant related experienceHealthcare experience perferredMinimum of 7 years progressively responsible experience in Sales related functions with a B2B software company or SAAS preferredMust possess strong leadership and communication skills as well as sound business judgment. Previous management experience is requiredExcellent communicator with proven ability to clearly convey complex ideas and data in written, presentation and spoken formats to a variety of audiences including executive managementExperience in enterprise direct software sales with demonstrated success leveraging a sales methodology across a team of sellersExperience in hiring and building sales teams and developing strong sales acumenProven track record for meeting/exceeding sales objectives in a software development companyA solid understanding of the software industry within assigned marketsSuccessful history in negotiating and contracting with key customers and partnersSuccessful experience in structuring sales quotas, compensation plans, and incentive programsDemonstrated success in a very fast paced collaborative environmentExperience driving revenue relationships across a broad distribution channelOr an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the jobUp to 50% travel time required
Based on individual states’ employment laws, the following details are to comply with the relevant salary posting requirements: base salary range of $121,000-174,000 and eligible for bonus and benefits
