About the team
The Revenue Operations team is responsible for maximizing yield through supply optimization, driving global ad revenue growth with strategic pricing and packaging, managing global publisher partnerships for ad inventory deals and delivery, and enhancing the efficiency of the ad sales organization by centralizing processes across our data tools and systems. By aligning advertising sales, marketing, product, and client services, the team aims to optimize the monetization of advertising inventory. This involves a blend of strategic planning, data analysis, system and tool utilization, and partnership management.
About the role
The Sales Planning Manager manages a team of Sales Planners who are responsible for the creation of Roku Media sales proposals. They will be integral in ensuring the Sales Planning team puts forth proposals in alignment of client goals, showcasing the value of the Roku experience. The role is located in the New York office and will report into the Senior Manager, Sales Planning based in New York, NY.
For New York Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $122,000 and $183,000 annually.
Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location.

What you’ll be doing Manage team of Sales Planners Lead weekly Pipeline Reviews with Sales Planners to ensure status of budget, deal type, and stage are reflected in pipeline accurately Review proposals to ensure products, packages, price, and business rules are followed through proposal creation Approve sales proposals in planning queue for accurate external proposal generation by Sales Planners Provide plan building support to Sales Planners to ensure enablement of sales strategies Provide negotiation analysis & reporting support to Sr. Manager, Sales Planning across various initiatives Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders such as Sales, Account Management, Marketing, and Ad Ops Sign IOs received from clients once proposals are finalized Lead people management function for team inclusive of gathering and providing clear, constructive feedback Provide coaching and guidance to team to champion individual growth, highlighting accomplishments and improvements when necessary
We’re excited if you have 5 - 8 years of professional experience; pricing & planning experience strongly preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint Proficiency in Salesforce Confidence to present/speak to large groups Proficiency in media math and terminology is a plus Familiarity with OMS tools and the CTV landscape Familiarity with the CTV ad-buying ecosystem including programmatic Familiarity with training and enablement is beneficial Enthusiasm for working in a collaborative Ad Sales team environment Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities with willingness to help others Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to make unpopular decisions when it is the right thing to do #LI-RD2Benefits
