Manager, Service Sales
Role Overview:
Drive the commercial aspect of service and provide strategic direction for the team to achieve AMC Renewal, Conversion & Recovery of suspended/ discontinued services. Identifying service needs in the field and working with respective regional teams to provide support. Manage the monthly forecast and develop strategies to meet and exceed forecasted targets, contributing to the overall business. Knowing, developing and maintaining the elevator market and Otis growth through Service Sales.Develop Key Accounts by understanding customer expectations and working closely with service teams.Completing all the documentation associated with the Contract, i.e. Tender, Technical clarifications, legal documents, etc. and submitting them to the customer within the given timeframe.Preparing and making presentation to Customers and stakeholders.Responsible for account receivables.Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Service department, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and improve customer satisfaction.What You Will Need to be Successful:
Diploma (or) Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management or higher in related field.Proven experience in a managerial role within or outside of the elevator industry.Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve strategic objectives.Expertise in Service business, forecasting, and margin improvement , with a track record of successful outcomes.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.Exposure to latest trends in Customer Service, must have sound knowledge in technical, and commercial aspects as well as soft skills.Be a subject matter expert (SME) and lead for other continuous improvement associates on the team.Coordinate with service team to action plans and address deficiencies regarding safety, callback rates, and technical support.Recommend and detail changes in maintenance service documentation, methods, process, design, and delivery.Conduct field education training ensuring that we create and maintain a safe working environment.On a typical day you will:
Manage a portfolio of elevator units through maintaining good working relationships with existing customersServe as primary contact for timely resolution of customer needs surrounding inquiriesDevelop new customers via cold calling, networking, bids and tendersDevelop your own sales strategy to achieve sales targetsUse Otis’ sales tools to effectively track opportunities, pipeline, and forecast sales resultsConduct sales negotiations and close dealsCollaborate with fellow team members, including other sales representatives and field colleaguesWhat’s In it For Me / Benefits
