Manager, ServiceNOW SAM (Software Asset Management) Platform
**Must have:** + ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM) platform implementation experience **About the role:** BMO is building a modern Software Asset Management practice aimed at making more efficient decisions regarding acquisition, management, release, deployment, maintenance and eventual retirement of software assets. Using a capable platform (ServiceNow SAM) we are looking to augment our team with driven professionals passionate about ITAM and SAM, who want to build a career in this space. We’re looking for a candidate who has significant hands-on usage of ServiceNow SAM (managing software end-to-end) to help work with remediating errors and maturing the current SAM operations team knowledge and experience using ServiceNow SAM. The candidate should also have experience with at least one implementation of SAM platform. The primary objective of the position is to Lead ServiceNow Platform Support (Intake, Analysis, Technical Design, Development, Implementation, Performance Tuning, Testing, Configuration Management and Release/Build management in all stages of Full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The role sits within the ServiceNow Platform Team and is tasked with delivering SAM solutions that integrate various enterprise systems in a hybrid cloud environment. The primary objective of the position is to Lead ServiceNow Platform Support, following the standards for BMOs ServiceNow environments **What will you do:** + Lead the implementation of SAM module ServiceNow + Analysis, Technical Design, Development, Implementation, Integration, Performance Tuning, Testing, Configuration Management and Release/Build management in all stages of Full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of software applications + Lead the ServiceNow platform Intake process and manage platform Demand. + Represent ServiceNow Platform enterprise wide in the areas of ServiceNow Portal and Service Catalog. + Work with product and ITSM process owners to ensure non-development requirements for releases are in place + Strong understanding of ITIL process design and ability to apply ServiceNow platform lens to identify areas of improvements in ITSM processes such as Incident, Problem, Change Request, Cyber + Work closely with ServiceNow Platform operations teams including development and testing teams (set up in On and Offshore model) to ensure acceptance of release items and their on-time delivery + Hands on scripting capability + Understand work in the pipeline to identify potential dependencies and conflicts for release cycles + Provide near perfect effort estimates to deliver a requirement by working with Development and QA teams. + Communicate to platform stakeholders of upcoming release windows and post deployment activities + Plan and manage end to end ServiceNow Upgrade/Implementation Initiatives. + Work closely with BMO ServiceNow Strategy Lead and Platform Manager on the Product Roadmap + Respond to and manage service issues and problems as part of the Platform team + Responsible for awareness & compliance to policy and guidelines of the BMO ServiceNow Platform + Experience with reviewing ServiceNow logs and remediating SAM Pro errors a plus + Manage Service Now Vulnerability Module Snow Coding, Automation + Designing Dashboarding, Workflows + Handle Tenable Snow Integration issues, CMDB/IPAM integration issues, Troubleshooting and vendor coordination, Root cause analysis. + Work with Vulnerability Management closely and redesign the assignment logics & modifications. + Experience in scripting and automation within ServiceNow. + Design Dashboarding, Workflows Snow Patching & Upgrade Cleanup task Knowledge on SecOps & GRC module also Involvement in Other Automation task (Python, PowerShell & Ansible). + Familiarity with ITIL frameworks." **Must have:** + Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field. + 7-10 years of experience with ServiceNow and 3+ years experience with SAM + Background in ServiceNow Administration/Development is helpful + Experience with managing and delivering enterprise level Service Now SAM implementations across multiple teams. + Should have managed at least one implementation cycle. + Strong Knowledge of ServiceNow Platform as a Product, its capabilities and release cycles. + ServiceNow SAM Certified + Ability to advise on Configuration, ability to script and automate + Excellent Written and oral communication skills + Analysis, Technical Design, Development, Implementation, Performance Tuning, Testing, Configuration Management and Release/Build management in all stages of Full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of software applications + Certified ITIL, ITSM, ITIM + Certified CSAM, CITAM (ideally) **Salary:** $110,000.00 - $204,100.00 **Pay Type:** Salaried The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type. Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
