Job OverviewJoin T-Mobile as a Manager, SMB Sales and become a pivotal force in driving our growth and success within the small to mid-sized business sector. In this role, you'll take complete control of hiring, training, and developing a successful sales team responsible for outside direct sales in a geographic area. Your leadership skills will be critical to your entire team's success as your income and theirs will depend on your team productivity. Your creation and monitoring of overall sales plans for your geographic area will enable your sales team to drive success against sales goals through the teams of Account Executives.

Key ResponsibilitiesMarket Leadership: Increase market share while achieving and exceeding performance targets related to subscribers, revenue, churn, and Cost Per Gross Addition (CPGA).Sales Quota Achievement: Meet or exceed overall sales quotas for your assigned region, ensuring alignment with company objectives.Operational Excellence: Implement key operational initiatives in the field while upholding high ethical and procedural standards.Team Coordination: Coordinate and lead frequent sales meetings to drive team engagement and performance.Talent Development: Interview, hire, train, and develop a staff of successful Account Executives, fostering an environment of growth and success.Coaching and Mentoring: Provide ongoing mentoring and coaching to your team to enhance skills and drive results.Additional Duties: Undertake other responsibilities or projects as assigned by business management as needed.Education RequirementsRequired: High School Diploma or GED.Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.Work ExperienceRequired: 4-7 years of verifiable new customer acquisition sales experience within a commissioned environment.Preferred: 2 years of people management responsibilities and 2 years of experience in telecommunications or technical sales.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesMentoring Skills: Strong coaching abilities to guide team members toward success.Presentation Skills: Confidence in making presentations to both large groups and individuals.Sales Success Record: A consistent track record of high-yield business sales success.Negotiation Skills: Well-honed negotiation capabilities to close deals effectively.Recruitment Familiarity: Basic understanding of HR/recruiting processes to attract and retain top sales talent.Why T-Mobile?At T-Mobile, we believe in investing in our employees just as much as we invest in our customers.
