Duties: Develop automated scripts to provision Infrastructure resources in Google cloud platform using terraform and Pivotal Cloud Foundry using Github. Develop Automated build jobs using CI/CD platform bamboo. Develop Automated deployment pipelines using Harness tool to deploy application Kubernetes objects in Google Kubernetes clusters. Develop and improve automated development jobs using common scripting languages. Develop and improve and Deploy source code branching methodologies and associated automation. Monitor platform availability, performance, and deep training of incidents. Lead initiatives and implement site reliability best practices that will improve our availability while ensuring optimum delivery. Collaborate with build and run teams to review current practices and make recommendations on adopting CI/CD best practices. Collaborate with team leads across the organization to design and implement process improvement in our build and deploy space. Communicate DevOps principles and the importance of their role in the SDLC to both technical and nontechnical audiences. Assist build and run teams in establishing or enhancing their build, deploy, configuration management, and release engineering related activities. Assist in analyzing application configuration management issues in production and test within non-production environments. Develop and maintain configuration and release scripts and provide release planning services and installation script development for new applications where necessary. Develop and improve release process improvements and update release standards documentation.
We offer competitive pay and benefits. Starting compensation depends on related experience. Annual bonus and other eligible earnings are not included in the ranges above. Salary: $159,500 to $200,100 per year
What you haveJob Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 60 months of progressive, post-Bachelor’s experience in a related occupation. Experience must include 12 months involving the following: Develop automation scripts to provision Kubernetes Infrastructure resources in Google Cloud Platform using Terraform and Linux Shell scripting; Design, Implement, and manage the Containerized Infrastructure in GCP and Pivotal Cloud Foundry; Deploy and manage the mission-critical application databases in MongoDB Atlas cloud; Develop CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Bamboo and Harness for application code builds and deployments; Monitor the availability, latency, and overall system health using Splunk and Grafana; Implement identity and access management (IAM) to securely configure the Google and Pivotal Cloud environments; and Define and administer SRE processes for critical login function.
