The AI Platform team has been established to build, develop, and run the Enterprise AI Platform. The Enterprise AI Platform serves as a comprehensive ecosystem of collaborative services, tools, and infrastructure, empowering both technical and non-technical users to seamlessly develop, evaluate, deploy and monitor AI solutions tailored to various business use cases and personas. Through prioritizing transparency, reusability of prompts, models and workflows, and swift integration of emerging AI frameworks like Generative AI, the AI Platform strives to redefine the landscape of AI solutions whether for experimentation or for a production environment. As Manager, Software Engineering, AI Platform you are both a technical leader and a people manager. Key responsibilities include the technical direction of AI Platform services, close partnership with technology partners across the enterprise, and responsibility for the recruiting, career growth and mentorship of AI Platform engineers. Managers provide technical guidance on our services, tools, and infrastructure largely involving state-of-the-art GenAI technologies. This role also identifies and collaboratively advocates for the adoption of industry best practices around well-managed software delivery.

In this opportunity as Manager, Software Engineering, AI Platform, you will:
Manage, coach, and provide technical support to the AI Platform engineering team across multiple initiatives.
Socialize and align a wide variety of cross-functional stakeholders to strategy, vision and roadmap of the AI platform services.
Own the delivery of business-critical services for high value applications.
Operate with urgency and manage change at a rapid pace.
Serve as an expert resource to create and improve standards and best practices in complex and unstructured situations.
Foster a culture of innovation, growth, and continuous improvement.
About You
You're a fit for the role of Manager, Software Engineering, AI Platform if your background includes:
A bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, computer engineering or the equivalent. Master’s in a relevant specialization preferred.
Significant software development experience, with the demonstrated ability to successfully manage software development teams in an agile environment.
Experience spearheading technical development in a cross-functional setting, with responsibility for ML applications; close partnership with Data Scientists, R&D groups, UX/UI Design, or similar.
A portfolio showcasing significant contributions to technology innovation.
Excellent project management, organization and communication skills.
Experience contributing to and overseeing large-scale rollouts and infrastructure initiatives.
Expertise in several of the following areas: robust python development, MLOps, containerization, cloud infrastructure (AWS and Azure), orchestration of ML pipelines for real-time inference, microservices architecture, model monitoring and governance.
