Position Summary: 

We are looking for a Software Engineering Manager who is skilled working with Adobe Experience Manager to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of various content on the eCommerce platform. As an Engineering Manager, you will work closely with multi-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate, implement and deliver them as effective business features on the Search product function. Your expertise in AEM will help in providing systems architectural and design leadership to the software development scrum team based out of Bangalore. In addition to that, the role also demands to lead, empower, mentor and provide ample guidance to the delivery team with respect to technical challenges and calibrate them for performance appraisals.

Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required.

 Minimum Experience

12+ years of related experience.

 Essential Experience / Skills:

10+ years of proven work experience in Java/J2EE and related technologies with sound understanding of design principles.Has good experience (atleast in the last 5+ years) working on Adobe Experience Manager in building forms, template creation, classic & touch UI components, user role management, content repository and OSGiHas experience and well versed with oak:index, assets, cache management and has fine-tuned for better performance.Deliver against the website optimization and customized experience strategies across the website and other touch points.Debug, solve, and fix AEM configuration and integration issues.Good hands on experience with Spring Boot Framework, RESTful APIs, and Microservices based architectureExperience as a Tech Lead and ability to provide mentorship in designing and architecting critical software applicationsExperience maintaining and designing applications on AWSExperience with distributed computing, enterprise-wide systems i.e. Service Oriented ArchitectureExperience with building efficient distributed, scalable, high quality software services, microservicesExperience with Docker and KubernetesExperience with latest monitoring and logging platformsExperience with database technologies and SQLExperience in Agile methodologies, and CI/CD DevOps tools (Jenkins / GitHub Actions, GitHub Co-pilot etc.)Experience with databases Postgres, Oracle, NoSQL DB.Excellent inter-personnel skills as well as experience influencing senior leadershipBe flexible to work with some overlapping work overs if needed and attend onshore calls.Regular day to day job responsibilities does not involve travel.
