The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Software Development Manager to lead a team of software engineers. This position involves overseeing the development of critical systems and applications while managing a diverse set of resources that have dotted line responsibilities to several tools across various functions. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership experience in a technical environment, with a strong understanding of software development processes, cross-functional collaboration, and resource management.

What you need to succeed

5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2-3 years in a management or leadership role.Proven experience managing teams with dotted line reporting across different functions or tools.Strong understanding of software engineering methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practicesSolid experience with software development, programming languages, and frameworks such as Java, Python, C#, Node.js, or similar.Experience in managing development tools such as Value Edge, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems.Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, distributed systems, and microservices architecture is a plus.Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex technical and interpersonal challenges.:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
