The Manager of Store Support Center Recruiting is responsible for leading a team of Professional Recruiters that support full cycle recruiting for all corporate functions in addition to being responsible for evolution of the recruiting strategy for the Store Support Center.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%) Develop and execute a sourcing strategy for Tractor Supply’s Store Support Center to ensure a premier employment brand that continually enhances the image of the company in recruitment campaigns and attracts candidates. Lead and mentor a team of full-cycle professional recruiters as well as setting and ensuring key performance targets are met by the recruitment team. Develop recruitment solutions and processes to measure effectiveness and satisfaction among internal and external customers to facilitate continuous improvement and capture relevant recruitment performance metrics. Ensure development and execution of diversity recruiting initiatives and ensure that company recruitment practices are compliant with company policy and local and state regulations. Improve effectiveness of data capture and analysis and use data to identify trends, drive change, and assess progress. Develop an effective network of key talent from competitors, industry leaders, job fairs and social networking to recruit potential candidates. Source and interview candidates as needed to support the productivity of the team. Remain informed on recruiting industry trends, best practices, trends, standards and competition. Plan and manage 3rd party agency relationships. Provide training on competency-based interviewing for key levels of management. Provide updates and recommendations to key stakeholders regarding various recruiting efforts and statuses. Represent Tractor Supply Company (TSC) by explaining the company culture, mission, and values, as well as growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 5 years leading full cycle recruiting operations or strategy preferably in a corporate environment; Minimum 2 years leadership experience.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred. Master of Business Administration or related advanced degree is desired. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
Professional Certifications: Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) accreditation is preferred, but not required.
Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities Experience & familiarity with leveraging recruiting technologies, data analytics, and automation tools. Proven leadership experience coaching and developing teams Ability to influence senior leaders to impact change Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Knowledge of recruiting methods, laws, and regulations related to HR management. Knowledge and understanding of application tracking systems; Successfactors experience a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. Outlook, Excel, PPT or Canva) Ability to work independently.
