The Manager, Strategic Planning supports strategic initiatives through modeling, planning, and performance tracking. The Manager, Strategic Planning will build and maintain dashboards and financial models, conduct competitive and market assessments, and assist in pricing and post-acquisition integration efforts.
What You Will Do:
Support strategic initiatives through detailed modeling, planning, and performance tracking. Build and maintain dashboards and financial models to provide insights and track performance metrics. Conduct thorough competitive and market assessments to inform strategic decisions. Assist in the development and implementation of pricing strategies to optimize profitability. Support post-acquisition integration efforts by providing analysis and tracking integration progress. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with strategic goals. Analyze data and generate reports to support strategic planning and decision-making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and insights for strategic planning. Continuously seek ways to improve strategic planning processes and tools. Communicate findings and strategic recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.What You Will Need:
Education and Experience
4–6 years in consulting or strategy roles. Strong modeling and project management skills. A bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field is required. Master’s Degree or MBA is preferred.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
In-depth knowledge of strategic planning processes and methodologies. Proficiency in building and maintaining financial models. Strong ability to conduct market and competitive assessments. Advanced data analysis skills to interpret complex data and generate insights. Experience in developing and maintaining dashboards for performance tracking. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting findings and recommendations. Strong project management skills to handle multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously. Effective collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in analysis and reporting. Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities. Familiarity with Classification societies, maritime transportation, ABS, ABS Group, and Wavesight is highly desirable. Working knowledge of the ABS Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management System.Reporting Relationships:
This position will report to the Director, Strategic Planning. Direct reports include individual Contributors.
