We are seeking an experienced Stress Testing Model Developer and data specialist to develop bank stress testing aggregation model, and capital and treasury reporting. This role will be responsible for ensuring the robustness and transparency of stress testing aggregation model, capital reporting and various dashboards. This position will report to Sr. Manager of Treasury Capital and collaborate with key stakeholders in Treasury, Risk, and Finance to support the bank’s overall financial stability and strategic objectives.
Responsibilities Developing Stress Test Aggregation Model:Develop bank stress testing aggregation model that combines credit loss forecast, balance growth forecast, expenses, nonfinancial loss scenarios to produce income statement and balance sheetAutomate the model to the extent possible and make it capable of taking various inputsOverlay it with robust controls and reconciliationsPrepare the model documentation, and process diagramsReporting automation and data preparation and controlsPrepare and present reports to senior management, offering insights into the bank’s capital position, stress test results, and regulatory compliance.Create internal treasury MIS system for various reporting and build automated reports. Create process, and tools for daily loan pricer rate updatesLay groundwork for data quality controls for FED FRY reporting. This will involve data lineages and data quality controls.Risk Management & Regulatory Compliance:Adhere to model development and model governance standardsDesign and execute all the necessary controls for capital number productionPrepare all necessary materials for model validation team and address all validation team findings
Key Skills:
Financial Analysis & Modeling: Proficient in building and maintaining complex financial models for stress testing, capital forecasting, and FP&A. Ability to design model and reporting architecture that is automated and controlledData Fluency: Deep understanding of data lineage concepts to ensure accurate reporting and analysis. Communication & Presentation: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex capital-related issues to the board, senior management and regulators.Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. Qualifications Education & Certifications:Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.Proficiency in analytical software and tools including Python, Microsoft Excel/VBA,R, SQL and other applications. Experience:10 + experience in the financial industryDemonstrated experience in leading and mentoring a team, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.Proven verbal and written communication skills to interface effectively with modelers/validators and all levels of client management. Skills & Competencies:Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with a strong attention to detail.Intellectually curious, ability to learn via different mediumsAbility to work independently and cooperatively in a team settingAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and relationship-building skills to work effectively with stakeholders across the organization.
