The Structured Finance team is responsible for raising external project financing, primarily tax equity financing, for utility-scale renewable energy projects as a key contributor to RWE's growth and financial objectives. The Structured Finance team works closely with investors, third-party consultants, and internal business teams to efficiently execute financing transactions and support RWE's strategic objectives. The **Manager, Structured Finance** has first-hand experience leading renewable energy financing transactions.
**Role Responsibilities:**
+ Manage financial modeling for tax equity transactions and other financing arrangements
+ Coordinate various workstreams necessary to successfully execute financing transactions, including diligence management
+ Provide support to senior deal members in deal structuring and negotiating deal documentation
+ Manage various workstreams necessary to successfully execute financing transactions, including having a lead role on structuring the economics of the transaction, negotiating deal documentation, and diligence management
+ Provide coaching and development to junior members in the team
+ Assist other parts of the finance team as required, including quality control review and supporting development and origination teams
+ Recommend and lead process improvement initiatives
+ Assist with various internal ad hoc projects
**Job Requirements and Experiences:**
+ Bachelor's Degree (required) with a background in business, finance, tax, math, engineering or other analytical field.
+ MBA or similar postgraduate degree is considered a plus
+ Minimum of 8 years of experience showing growth in job complexity and responsibility
+ Knowledgeable of renewable energy project economics
+ Experience modeling tax equity partnership flip structures or similar project finance modeling
+ Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to apply creative thinking to complex problems
+ Excellent Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint skills, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel formulas and model creation
+ Team player with the flexibility to work both independently and in cross-functional teams
+ Effective communicator with strong written and presentation skills
+ Strong organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliverables
+ Motivated self-starter, goal-oriented, and strong problem-solving abilities
**Pay range:** The annual base salary range for this position in Illinois is $111,000 - $160,000. The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S locations. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. RWE considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s education & work experience, training & certifications, and key skills as well as market and business considerations at the time of the offer.
