Job Description: As part of the McDonald’s Agency123 Centralized Resources Team, the Manager of Studio Services leads and inspires the studio team by fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. This role provides strategic direction, consultation and management of our two studios and digital asset management system. The Studio Manager focuses on driving innovation while acting as a bridge between creative vision and logistical execution, ensuring the studio functions efficiently while producing high-quality imagery aligned with the brand visual identity. Utilizing industry expertise and McDonald's system knowledge they seamlessly integrate strategic planning with day-to-day operations, driving initiatives that enhance operational excellence and creative output. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: + Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance studio operations and production efficiency. + Drive innovation and continuous improvement across the team to maintain industry-leading standards. + As a strategic thought partner, collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams (e.g., Global Communications, Marketing, Creative, and Brand Management) on photo shoots, including food photography for McDonald’s Core Menu items as well as Limited Time offerings. + Partner with McDonald’s external marketing agencies to advise on creative strategy and lead on production execution, and ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables, while building and maintaining strong relationships with the agencies. + For internal McDonald’s Lifestyle Shoots, collaborate with the A123 Creative team on creative vision via development of mood boards/story boards to ensure creative vision is achieved during fast-paced on location shoots. + Build relationships and manage vendor partners to execute on project vision at a high level. + Leading by example, foster a collaborative and high-performance culture by facilitating clear communication and alignment between the studio team, creative teams (both internal A123 Creative and External Agencies), and other stakeholders. + Lead direct reports, overseeing their daily responsibilities and guiding them in development opportunities. Operational Management: + Oversee daily operations of the studio team delivering live-action and tabletop filming and photography + Oversee the post-production process, including image selection, retouching, and final delivery. + Ensure optimal resource allocation, scheduling, and workflow management to maximize productivity and output quality. + Build and maintain a robust talent bench by expanding the vendor list and developing strong relationships with vendors and contractors. + Ensure alignment with McDonald’s visual identity system (VisID) standards and overall brand guidelines by keeping vendors informed and regularly reviewing team and vendor deliverables. + Manage the studio budget and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising production quality. + Oversee project budgets to ensure financial efficiency and adherence to allocated resources. Digital Asset Management: + Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system to enhance accessibility, collaboration, and utilization of digital assets across the organization. + Oversee the DAM platform, ensuring efficient organization, storage, and retrieval of assets. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Manager, Studio Services position will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in photography studio management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Experience in digital asset management and familiarity with industry standards and creative innovations are essential. We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with strong leadership and team-building skills.
