Job Description

This results-driven manager will build and lead a team to optimize our sourcing and procurement activities related to 3rd party purchased items. This leadership role will be pivotal in developing and implementing sourcing strategies that align with business goals, drive operational efficiency, and ensure cost-effectiveness across the organization.  The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, and cost optimization strategies across various categories. As a key leader, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Category Management, World-Wide Sourcing, Supply/Demand Planning, Sales and Merchandising, Merchandising, Sales teams.

 

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

 

Skills:

Lead the negotiation of contracts, including terms and conditions, pricing, and delivery schedules. Ensure contracts comply with company policies and legal requirements heading the development of Master Service Agreement and other contract boilerplates.Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers. Ensure suppliers meet performance and quality standards. Provide regular reporting on sourcing activities, supplier performance, and cost-saving initiatives to senior leadership using data-driven insights to improve sourcing strategies and decisions.Develop and execute sourcing strategies to ensure high-quality goods and services at competitive prices. Focus on continuous improvement in sourcing processes to meet both short-term and long-term organizational goals.Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and supplier capabilities. Conduct thorough supplier analysis, benchmarking, and risk assessments to inform strategic decisions.Identify potential risks related to suppliers, market fluctuations, or supply chain disruptions, and develop mitigation strategies.Continuously improve procurement processes, leverage technology, and introduce innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and sourcing effectiveness. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experienceAt least 8 years related experience3 years of experience as a managerAn MBA or equivalent is preferred

The Compensation range for this position is approximately $101,000 to $132,300 and will be based on the candidate’s qualification, experience, and education.
