Job DescriptionResponsible for managing all supply chain functions, which may include, but are not limited to, vendor selection, procurement, inventory control, outsourcing, and distribution.
Develops and implements sourcing, procurement and negotiation strategies to support business requirements. Makes recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations. Promotes alignment by understanding and communicating customer needs and requirements throughout the organization. Identifies and executes total cost savings across the supply chain. Identifies supply base issues, analyzes information to assess root cause, improvement opportunities and associated risk. Develops solutions and gains consensus in resolving issues or mitigating supply base risks. Manages all aspects of personnel selection, evaluation, development and direction.
Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 8 years related experience. CPM, CSCP, CPIM, Lean, Six Sigma or equivalent certification preferred.
