Your Role

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the supply chain operations within the Indianapolis site. The role involves managing a team and supply chain processes that ensure material readiness in-time for manufacturing.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and implement supply chain strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Procurement Management: Oversee the procurement of materials and services, ensuring quality and timely delivery. This included working with the Global Procurement team on strategic pricing.

Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, manage stock replenishment, and minimize waste.

Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts.

Data Analysis: Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, forecast demand, and make informed decisions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (e.g., production, client project management, finance) to align supply chain activities with business goals.

Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulations and manage risks associated with the supply chain.

 

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Proven experience in supply chain management or logistics.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Proficiency in using an ERP system and Microsoft Office Suite.

Knowledge of industry trends and best practices.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in a relevant field.

Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCP).

Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Experience using SAP.
