Lead the development and management of certain global/regional commodity strategies designed to leverage BW collective purchasing power and maximize synergistic opportunities to optimize supplier performance, reduced total supply costs while meeting our technology expectations throughout the supply chain. Ensure commodity plan deliverables meet designed strategies. Negotiate key supplier contracts. Provide global leadership in the communication, implementation, coordination, and enforcement of commodity strategies.

Lead the development and management of certain global/regional commodity strategies designed to leverage BW collective purchasing power and maximize synergistic opportunities to optimize supplier performance
Standard Duties :
+ Provide global leadership in the communication, implementation, coordination, and enforcement of overall GSM and Commodity strategies
+ Develop, Execute and Report Budget for Seneca supplier spend
+ Manages talent development through mentorship and leadership of Seneca GSM team
+ Leads the GSM team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
+ Directs and coordinates GSM functions through strategy, resource optimization, profitability maximization, and KPIs resulting in the maximization of customer satisfaction.
+ Plans, manages, and coordinates all activities related to Direct and Indirect sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and supplies needed to meet the changing levels of product demand at all stages of the Program / Project (Launch, Production, Service etc.,)
+ Develops policies to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and safety; implements subsequent changes to processes.
+ Participates cross-functionally with the product development, marketing and sales teams, providing information and guidance on availability and cost of supplies and materials.
+ Aligns Seneca GSM strategies with Regional GSM and Global Commodity teams
+ Monitors the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; identifies and qualifies new suppliers in collaboration with manager and other departments.
+ Supports proper utilization of various ERP and GSM systems like SAP , iVALUA
+ Member of the operations staff, responsible to routinely report on department KPIs along with appropriate analysis and countermeasures where necessary.
Safety and Physical Requirements:
+ All employees are responsible for knowing, understanding and complying with the safety policies and procedures.
+ Wear PPE when appropriate in designated campus areas.
+ Lifting shoulder high up to 35 lbs. on occasion.

Education & Experience
+ 12 plus years’ experience in Supply Chain Management and/or alternative discipline (Engineering, Program Management, Manufacturing, etc.) within the Automotive industry.
+ Experience in Powertrain Components and/or Systems preferred.
+ Strong Functional and Technical skills
+ Managerial experience required.
+ Demonstrated leadership ability.
+ Ability to travel 50% of the time.
+ Proficient in English.
+ Bachelor of Science degree in business, engineering or related discipline.
+ MBA preferred.

Salary Range:
$143,200 - $196,900
