Position Summary

This role will report directly to the Lead Director of Vendor Compliance, Collaboration & Alternate Product Flow.  We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Systems Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining deep knowledge of our systems, identifying root causes of issues, and developing solutions to enhance operational efficiency. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and the ability to communicate findings effectively across teams.  This position plays a key role in providing direct support to ensure that the Systems used in managing alternate product flow as well as the systems used to manage out compliance programs are operating optimally and identifies areas of inefficiencies using data analysis.  The role works cross-functionally with multiple business units, including DC Operations, Inventory Management, Store Operations, Returns team and the Supplier community.  This key role will enable data-driven strategic decision-making, identify opportunities for improving existing operational processes and define new initiatives that may help drive business value.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage our internal programs to drive system simplification and data accuracy.

Manage our 3rd party systems to drive system simplification and data accuracy.

Develop and maintain detailed documentation of system workflows, procedures, and resolutions.

Development of team members on system functionalities and troubleshooting techniques.

Manage system upgrades, patches, and stay current on industry best practices to ensure optimal system performance.

Monitor and analyze system performance to identify inefficiencies, anomalies, and potential issues.

Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for system failures or malfunctions, documenting findings and corrective actions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, implement solutions, and prevent recurrence to CVS Compliances program, Direct Store Delivery, Scan Based Trading, and DC consignment programs.

Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements and automation opportunities.

Reporting simplification including self-service tools/dashboards in real-time.

Manage external and internal networking to evaluate industry standards and supply chain performance programs of CVS retail competitors to ensure CVS remains comparable. 

Manage reporting for ad hoc projects related to Supply Chain solutions and process improvement


Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)

3+ years of full-time work experience in supply chain and/or DC operations



Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of experience leading, developing and executing strategy in a fast-paced, professional environment.

5+ years of experience managing complex cross-functional projects and/or teams 5+ years of experience with analytics tools including but not limited to SQL Developer, Microsoft Access and Excel, Tableau, Snowflake

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships and contribute ideas in a team setting.

Strong communication skills in both formal and informal writing and speech using this skill to influence and drive change.

Ability to diagnose problems, seek insights, recommend, and implement practical solutions.

Ability to make sound and strategic business decisions in a fast-paced matrix environment.

Curiosity to explore and identify insights that result in the development of actionable strategies and tactical plans.

Use insights into how the team integrates with other teams to coordinate efforts and resources to achieve goals and drive that culture in a team for actionable strategies.

Leadership experience building and managing teams; mentoring, training, or supporting the development of others.

Results driven with strong time management & organizational skills while working in a fast-paced environment.

Strong analytical skills, demonstrated by the ability to pull data, analyze it, and show the results.


Education

Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$66,330.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
