Support execution of Sourcing Sustainability programs and

Key reponsibilities

Support the implementation of Sourcing Sustainability programs, focus on Environmental and Traceability aspects in compliance with relevant regulations and requirements Guide facilities to understand and comply with adidas sustainability policies, requirements.  Provide technical support and ensure facilities meet all Sourcing Sustainability program requirements and targets. Track, analyse facilities’ performance, and provide guidance on non-compliance case and further drive improvement. Ensure suppliers’ awareness and readiness on Sourcing Sustainability programs Ensure annual verification through a due diligence approach, including onsite verification and documentation check. Identify risks and offer recommendations based on legal obligations, strategic commitments or adidas requirements. Provide  from Sourcing Sustainability programs to stakeholders to refine programs and system development.Ensure all sourcing operations and practices fully comply with adidas’ Responsible Sourcing & Purchasing Policy, adidas standards and legal requirements, while managing the relevant processes internally and externally.  Role model leadership to foster a culture of Diversity Equity & Inclusion that strives for an inclusive workplace. 

 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Strong business acumen, analytics , and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills Solid knowledge on environmental laws, regulations and management systems including ISO 14001, ISO 50001, ISO 9000, etc Good stakeholder management skills Strong written and verbal English, any other regional (Asia Pacific) language is a plus Strong Microsoft Office skills

 

 

Requisite Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree or above in BSc Environmental Science or other related discipline Minimum 5 years of experience in managing environmental related aspects, with solid experience in apparel or footwear is preferred At least 3 years’ experience in environmental audit or assessment
