WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

The Manager, Talent Acquisition Assessment will join the Assessment Center of Excellence and lead the implementation, management and development of Bain’s digital talent assessment tools. 

 

WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM 

This individual will manage all aspects of Bain’s current assessment tools, including the implementation of these tools in the screening process, analytics to measure efficiency and effectiveness and the ongoing improvement of each tool.  This person will collaborate with Talent Acquisition (TA) teams and develop solutions and guidance for using assessments to support screening processes. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in talent acquisition, psychometrics, and assessment tools to enable best practices in the screening and hiring process. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

Screening implementation - 30%

Collaborate with recruiters, hiring managers, and leadership to understand screening needs, provide tailored assessment solutions and guidance for how to use assessments in the screening processOversee and support the distribution of assessments and identify ways to operationalize and automate implementation via ATS integration and ensure assessment use is aligned with CoE objectivesDevelop and share best practices focused on improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the screening process, improving the candidate experience and driving adoption of screening tools and assessments across TA teamsEvaluate and refine the assessment implementation strategy based on AI-driven analytics and candidate/recruiter feedback to enhance the user experience and improve hiring outcomes

Analysis and reporting – 30%

Conduct statistical analyses of digital assessments, validating the efficiency and effectiveness of assessment solutionsDevelop recommendations and share findings with senior leaders, recommending ways to use the assessments in the screening processManage the reporting of digital assessments, identifying improvements to integration as needed to ensure comprehensive data sets and zero defect analysis   Use insights from analyses to define Bain’s evolving assessment strategy, including opportunities to innovateAnalyze candidate and recruiter feedback and perceptions of tools by market/region and develop recommendations to address feedback and improve user experience

Tool/system management – 25%

Manage relationships and contracts with Bain’s assessment vendors Partner with each vendor to identify ways to optimize efficiency, effectiveness and equity of assessment solutions via refined mapping of assessment measures and skills required by role, training for recruiting teams and/or improvements to assessment toolsDevelop and manage data retention and data privacy requirements for each tool to ensure compliance with legal standardsOversee the evolution of Bain’s digital assessment solutions, ensuring they meet industry standards and align with organizational needs and research new solutions as needed

Marketing and training materials – 15%

Leverage AI content generation tools to create compelling and engaging candidate messaging and marketing communications for internal and external useLead trainings and workshops for recruiting teams on digital assessment tools and screening best practices

 

ABOUT YOU

7+ years’ professional experience, preferably with experience in talent assessment, talent acquisition, talent management, consulting, or research and analysisBachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience requiredMaster’s degree in I/O psychology or related field preferredExperience in data and statistical analysisStrong analytical skillsKnowledge of talent assessmentsStrong communication and presentation skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organizationDriven, self-motivated and ability to work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team
