About the role

The Manager of Tech Leads & Production oversees the operations processes for multi-media products to meet quality and timeliness standards in support of profitability goals. The Manager must continually and quickly incorporate new processes, technological changes, and advancements, to refine and streamline the workflow. This position will have responsibility for managing selected groups of products and the personnel responsible for their delivery and support. The Manager clarifies and communicates company goals, priorities, and mission to their teams. They will also act as the team’s liaison with stakeholders and others throughout GEO, GTO, LNNAUK, and REPH, as well as 3rd party providers.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for all elements of editorial, data workflow, data integrity and schedule compliance for multi-media products, meeting scheduled product releases and associated revenue.

Responsible for driving the implementation of improved operational processes and a quality program that will enhance product market availability.

Leads an editorial operations team. Recruit, hire, train and motivate staff to perform to full potential. Allocates team resources and collaborates with other teams/units for resource sharing as production necessitates.

Drive a culture among a staff that ensures prompt decision-making, encourages innovation, AI solutions, values continuous improvement, respects/rewards team members and supports company initiatives and overall company culture.  

Responsible for all aspects of performance management and employee development. This includes writing and delivering formal performance evaluations and holding regular performance discussions with employees.

Initiate and lead specific short- and long-term initiatives across GEO, LNNAUK, and other departments to further enhance existing workflows, processes, and to integrate new product development into the organization. Must identify key areas of impact and proactively adjust or create organizational systems for full integration.

Responsible for the release schedule, tracking key dates and data accuracy through internal databases, and reporting on and taking proactive steps to adjust for financial shifts in revenue. Coordinate staffing levels to meet product deadlines.

Manage external vendor relationships. Work with Procurement to establish and sustain quality and performance targets, drive continuous improvements, and resolve issues.

Act as a resource for a wide range of groups throughout the organization, including Analytical, Case Law, Legislation, Practical Guidance, Automated Templates, Global Procurement, and the REPH.

Requirements:

BA, BS, or equivalent degree required.

3+ years of demonstrated experience managing products, process, and change.

Leadership skills reflecting initiative, adaptability and independent decision making/problem solving.

Strong collaboration skills required, with the ability to influence others, and build positive relationships for the purpose of advancing organizational goals.

Demonstrated ability to make critical decisions on projects/products when limited information is available.

Demonstrated ability to provide product guidance in one or more centers of expertise while interpreting the strategic and tactical vision and developing plans for implementation.

Strong negotiation skills required.

Solid business sense to understand company goals, priorities, and mission.

Ability to clarify and communicate to team members, and to set team goals and priorities to reflect the company’s objectives, while keeping abreast of industry trends and

Must be able to impart excellent project and time management skills to team members to enable them to effectively meet rigid deadlines.

Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interface with and build collaborative relationships with internal staff and external contacts.
