Additional Responsibilities:

Ensure strict adherence to safety and environmental standards in all paint processes.Train and mentor staff on best practices for paint application, mixing, and process optimization through current paint supplier training.Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve quality.Maintain accurate records of paint usage, refinishing hours, and material volumes for reporting and analysis.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in paint management, manufacturing, or a related automotive field, with a focus on refinishing processes and cost control.Education: Bachelor’s degree in business management, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills:

Strong understanding of paint application processes, including liquid paint, refinishing techniques, and quality control.Excellent analytical skills to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.Proficiency in tracking and managing key performance indicators (KPIs) related to paint consumption, cost, and productivity.Strong communication and leadership skills to manage a team and collaborate across departments and businesses.Knowledge of budget management and cost control principles.

Physical Demands:

Some work in a production environment with exposure to chemicals, noise, and other environmental factors.Ability to wear proper personal protective equipment such as, but not limited to a respirator and safety glasses while in a center production area.

Work Environment:

The role is primarily a remote position.Occasional travel may be required for center visits, team meetings or supplier meetings.
