The Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Technology team is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to fill the role of Manager, Technology Delivery & Partner Management to help lead its Technology Business Development function. In addition to industry experience, the ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the technology landscape and emerging trends. They will play a key role in building out the strategy for the team and working with our Investment Banking business to identify external companies to partner and grow relationships with.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
General Responsibilities:

Advanced knowledge and understanding of assigned business and bank technology standards (e.g., infrastructure, architecture,processes, applications, platforms, services) and managing people / projects.Establish day to day management direction and define priorities and strategies consistent with the business goals and aligned tooverall direction from Technology Leadership team for own area.Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.Support the management of end-to-end development and implementation of technology applications to support CIB specificbusinesses, ensuring they align with overall business objectives and comply with internal stakeholder requirements.Develop and maintain strong relationships with project resources, internal stakeholder teams, and vendor partners to ensureapplications are maintained at a high standard.Manage vendor relationships for own area and ensure timely/accurate communication and resolution of issues; monitorbillings/expenses against contracts.Communicate business vision / goal and portfolio priorities to team members (e.g. Application Owners / Development Managers,Business Systems Analysis, Platform / Service and/or Technology Project Managers etc.)Assist in the assessment of the scope and risk of projects; work with the client, project managers, and/or 3rd party vendors to ensurethe development of broad project plans, budgets, and deliverables.Contribute to the identification and mitigation of technology risks, ensuring that risk acceptance, mitigating strategies, and remediationsplans are up to date in our risk management platform.Maintain high level of customer service and ensure commitments are met; recommend appropriate actions to enhance service levels,through effective service level management practices/ agreements.Comply with well-defined enterprise technology delivery practices and standards and project management disciplines - includingcreation of project documentation of system requirements, estimates of scope and cost.

Responsibilities specific to Technology Business Development function:
Strategic Planning

Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the Technology Business Development function within the Investment BankingTechnology Team, both for the short and long term.Identify and prioritize potential technology companies for partnership – ideally companies that will be mutually beneficial for thebusiness and technology teams.Identify and prioritize potential Venture Capital companies to help facilitate/amplify introductions to these technology companies.

Relationship Building / Management

Establish and nurture strong relationships with external technology vendors.Build strong internal relationships with key partners that will play significant roles in the success of the program. This will require strongcommunication and multi-tasking skill.Developing both external relationships and internal institutional knowledge will critical to success in this role.


Stakeholder Communication

Effectively communicate the value proposition of the Investment Banking Technology team to external technology companies and internal stakeholders.

Market Analysis

Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, potential investment opportunities, and technology products relevant tothe business.Ensure communication between internal business and technology teams is constant to align on top priority sectors/targets to align tocompany strategy.

Vendor Due Diligence

Help and support the due diligence process for potential investments or partnerships, evaluating financials, technology roadmaps, andoverall business viability.This will relate to the key responsibility outlined for "Relationship Building" – this due diligence will require strong support andcommitment across our internal risk partners.Metrics and ReportingDevelop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of the program.Continuous Process ImprovementStay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices to continually improve the business developmentstrategy.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience working in/with Investment Banking (ideally the Technology Sector) or Equity Research teams.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Strategic thinker with the ability to translate insights intoactionable items.Excellent communication (both verbal and written), interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to build and maintainrelationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders. Have the ability to articulate complex ideas effectively.Team focused with a collaborative mindset - ability to work cross-functionally and build strong internal partnerships.Bachelor's degree or certificate in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.Master's degree in Business, Technology, or Management is preferred.7+ years of experience in technology application management and delivery, Corporate & Investment Banking, or similar roles.Knowledge and understanding of investment banking, technology trends, industry best practices, and the intersection betweenfinance and technology.Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adapting to changing market conditions and business priorities.

The Manager Technology Deliver/Partner Management is accountable for day to day management of a team of IT professionals (including both permanent and contract resources) in supporting assigned business clients / internal partners / stakeholder needs and requirements. May be involved in negotiating technology costs and scope in forecasting, planning process with subset of business clients within an overall Segment CIO or within a key technology Functional area.
