As the Manager of Trade Learning & Development, you will spearhead the strategy and execution of sales learning programs designed to enhance the capabilities of both internal and external sellers and marketers. Your primary focus will be on developing engaging curriculum and content that utilizes e-learning and various learning events. You will collaborate with subject matter experts across Delta Faucet Company, including teams in Product, Sales, Channel Marketing, and Sales Operations, to ensure the delivery of effective, cohesive training programs that drive results.
Responsibilities:
Develop Learning Vision/Roadmap: Create and manage a strategic vision for learning and development that aligns with business objectives and guides the team in achieving these goals.
Content Development: Lead the development of training and e-learning content for key stakeholders, ensuring that content is relevant and impactful for both internal and external audiences.
Stakeholder Alignment: Partner with events, channel marketing, and sales enablement teams to ensure consistent messaging and training delivery both internally and to the market.
Team Leadership and Development: Inspire and lead a diverse team of four direct reports. You will foster an inclusive, collaborative environment that promotes high performance, clear communication, and ongoing professional development, ensuring your team thrives and grows.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in education, marketing, business, or a related field preferred.
Experience: 7+ Years Proven experience in learning and development, preferably within a trade or sales environment.
Training Expertise: Strong knowledge of training best practices and learning management software.
Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently.
Instructional Design: Expertise in instructional design and developing training that is easy for audiences to understand.
Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the plumbing industry, including key differences in priorities for various stakeholders such as plumbers, designers and architects.
