Manager, Travel and Expense (Hybrid - CDMX)
Job Profile Summary:Leads the Travel, Expense and Corporate Card program. Responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of relevant business policies and procedures. Proposes and develops strategies for the program. Strong knowledge of the industry to apply best practices and establish benchmarking. Uses advanced analytical and quantitative methodsto understand, predict,and enhance Travel, Expense and Corporate Card processes. Manages, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the Travel, Expense and Corporate Card function. Responsible for identifying and resolving risks and issues within the program. Responsible for generating reports and presenting results for use by leadership and and business partners.Key ResponsibilitiesContributes to vision for Travel, Expense and Corporate Card program and team.Develops, implements and manages the program’s policies, procedures and processes (including internal controls and systems).Leads the development and implementation of continuous improvement and process efficiency within the program.Develop, monitor and enforce employee expenses, corporate travel and credit card policies.Manage employee reimbursement process inclusive of managing systems and assisting ongoing processing.Proactively identifies, communicates and resolves risks and issues within the program.Escalates any significant issues to upper management for resolution.Manages and provides guidance, leadership, coaching and training to team.Develops robust training documentation and confidently designs and conducts end-user training sessions for the program.Provides program guidance and assistance to business partners (e.g. travel arrangements, targeted procurement).Analyzes activities related to timely, cost-effective planning and quality control of program operations.Benchmarks with peer companies and/or industry associations to keep abreast of new changes, challenges and opportunities.Understands the industry and the latest developments within the industry and apply best practices to the program.Participates in enterprise projects related to the program, to ensure that appropriate requirements are developed based on a solid understanding of the impacted systems and the transaction flow.Manages relationships with program suppliers (includes contract negotiations, compliance, controls, budget management and SLA oversight).Develop reporting to share results with leadership business partners (inclusive of spend plus volume trends, exception reporting, budgeting and forecasting).Other Incidental tasks related to the role, as necessary.Manage team and oversee gathering and interpreting complex dataKnowledge and SkillsExtensive knowledge of travel booking tools such as Concur.Strong understanding of computing tools, such as databases, and spreadsheetsExtensive knowledge of Travel and Expense practicesAnalytical SkillsContract ManagementGlobal Trade ComplianceSourcing/Supplier ManagementHigh SchoolDiploma or regionalequivalent requiredEducation and ExperienceHigh SchoolDiploma or regional equivalent requiredBachelor's Degree required, preferably in field related to role. At the manager’s discretion, additional relevant experience may substitute degree requirement7 - 9 years of relevant work experiencePeople management experience not required, but highly preferred#LI-AW2
