The Travel & Logistics Manager is primarily responsible for managing the company’s travel program and operations. This role is responsible for managing all bookings, travel policies, booking platforms, and vendor relationships. Additional responsibilities include managing a team that books all company travel and providing insights and analytics based on travel spending and trends.
Your Impact and Responsibilities:
Manages travel policies and routinely updates them based on industry trends, travel regulations, etc.Executes routine audits and provides reporting on policy violationsWorks cross functionally to evolve current policiesCreates and updates training materials and reference aids for all travel processesManages all travel vendor relationships, conducts quarterly business reviews (QBRs) to review contract performance and savings, and executes annual requests for proposal (RFPs)Onboards new travel vendors based on spending, industry trends, future growth outlook, etc.Provides reporting for key stakeholders on a monthly, quarterly, and as needed basisManages a team that is responsible for all company travel bookingsOversees and assists with all bookings as neededEvolves processes and procedures to drive efficiencies, cost savings, and improve traveler experienceManages all conference and group travelReviews travel spend to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for cost savingsCreates travel budgets and is responsible for driving complianceManages all travel escalations and the virtual credit card programReconciles travel spend on a monthly basisQualifications5+ years of management experience in a travel logistics roleExperienced with travel booking platforms and quick to learn new systems and processesDetail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changingSelf-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong written and verbal communication skillsAble to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaborativelyUse data to highlight important insights and influence decisionsAdaptable to various situations and deliver results under heavy pressure deadlinesExcellent communicator with the ability to tailor high impact messagingIntegrity to maintain confidential informationAble to work non-standard hours as requiredProficient in Microsoft: Outlook, Excel, PowerPointAble to work full-time at the Restaurant Support Office in Plano, TXBachelor's degree preferredAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
