We are currently hiring a **Manager, Treasury** based in our **Head Office** .
_Please note that this is a hybrid role based out of our Burnaby, BC office (_ _3_ _Days_ _On_ _Site /_ _2_ _Days Remote). Applicants who are not_ _located_ _within commuting distance of our Head Office or are not looking to_ _relocate_ _to the Greater Vancouver/Lower Mainland/Fraser Valley region will not be considered._
As the **Manager, Treasury** at BCAA, you will play a critical role in overseeing the organization's treasury functions, including cash and investment management, supply chain management, payments, collections, and banking. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across Finance and other business areas to enhance cash flow, optimize liquidity, and drive efficiencies in financial processes.
This role is ideal for a strategic finance leader with a strong understanding of treasury operations, cash management, and process automation. You will be responsible for managing operational risks, leading business continuity planning for Finance Operations, and guiding three key teams: Banking & Transactions, Accounts Payable, and Procurement.

**What** **you’ll** **do:**
+ Lead BCAA’s treasury operations, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and optimization of cash, banking, and investment management processes.
+ Develop and implement banking and cash flow management strategies, working with FP&A to forecast cash needs and ensure compliance with investment policies.
+ Enhance payment and collections processes by researching and integrating best-in-class financial technologies and automation solutions.
+ Oversee corporate procurement strategies, including vendor management, contract negotiation, and inventory oversight, ensuring cost-effective and streamlined purchasing practices.
+ Drive process improvements within treasury and finance operations, identifying opportunities for consolidation, automation, and efficiency gains.
+ Maintain and strengthen banking relationships, collaborating with financial institutions to optimize banking services and transaction efficiencies.
+ Ensure compliance with financial controls and internal policies, safeguarding financial processes while balancing efficiency and security.
+ Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing mentorship and strategic direction to managers overseeing Banking & Transactions, Accounts Payable, and Procurement.
+ Manage treasury-related risks and business continuity planning, ensuring operational resilience and preparedness for financial contingencies.
+ Stay ahead of industry trends and innovations, continuously bringing forward recommendations to keep BCAA at the forefront of treasury and payment best practices.
**What you bring:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
+ 8+ years of experience in financial systems, treasury, and cash management, including 5+ years in process improvement and automation.
+ CPA or equivalent designation is an asset.
+ Demonstrated track record of strategic planning, financial analysis, and process improvement.
+ Strong understanding of financial controls, cash flow forecasting, investment management, and risk mitigation.
+ Effective written and verbal communication skills, with experience collaborating across business units and managing external banking relationships.
+ Experience managing teams, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, and professional development.
+ Proficiency in MS Office Suite and enterprise financial applications (e.g., ERP, POS systems).

The salary range for this position is $110,000.00 to $140,000.00 and is determined via job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand and internal equity. In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits, this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 12.5%, with the opportunity to earn up to 20%.
