JOB SUMMARY:
Manage maintenance personnel, activities, and budgets in assigned area of responsibility, including all labor and non-labor resources to maintain superior show quality and customer satisfaction. Support initiatives to continuously improve guest and employee safety.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Manages all aspects of the facilities maintenance program within assigned area of responsibility, including planned, quick call, discretionary, and emergency repair work, as well as comprehensive asset life-cycle management. Develops and refines maintenance standards and maintains all OSHA and Universal Quality Standards
+ Manage staff by providing leadership, coaching, mentoring, career development, performance management, and recognition
+ Plans, prepares, and manages assigned capital and expense budgets
+ Secure reliable and cost-effective contracted services via scope development, competitive bidding, and contract oversight
+ Establish and maintain relationships across departments to ensure highest standards of guest experience, show quality, and operational readiness
+ Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
+ Associate’s Degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school required.
+ Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in management or technical discipline preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
+ 7+ years’ experience of construction, operation, and maintenance management of a large (500+ acres) Theme Park.
+ 5+ years of extensive experience in maintenance management of a Theme Park or other relevant experience is required with 5+ years of direct supervisory responsibilities
+ ; or equivalent combination of education.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
+ Maintenance Management Certification preferred. General Contractor license preferred.
+ Technical Certification/License preferred.
