REPORTS TO (Title): Snr Manager, P&C Transformation

       

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The People & Culture (P&C) Workforce Management team drive global programs and processes relating to management of workforce needs in the organization including organizational design & change; workforce transition management, headcount budgeting and financial forecasting support. The team is a key conduit between the P&C and Finance business partners in supporting financial and people needs of the business.

The Operations Manager will manage our Org Design tool – ensuring consistency in how the tool is used across each function; the timing for modelling, refreshes, updates and integration of data.   The Operations Manager will support the Workforce Management Partners to capture restructuring plans in the tool.

The Operations Manager will support on projects to process improve our management of positions (in our HRIS data) and headcount budget management.  This will involve working closely with our Finance and HR Partners to understand current process & challenges and identify areas to improve – which might include systems, process, communication and/or training.

Data refresh & reconciliation - Manage the monthly refresh process for the Org Tool to reconcile our HRIS data against planned & modelled changes.System guidance - Provide clear guidance and process for users to create and save drafts, and when and how to upload into implementation.Data Architecture & maintenance – ensuring data quality in the tool, so that the data import mirrors our HRIS dataFunctionality Management – keep updated as the tool develops, extending our usage of the functionality available.Integration flow managementSystem access & Permissions

Org Design Analysis

Work with the Workforce Management Partners to plan new structures in the Org Design tool, including actions and phased timings.Prepare analytical reporting, within the tool, to show costs/savings of planned changes per function or unit.As new structures are implemented over time provide status reports showing completion of each project and anticipated future costs / savings for stakeholders.

Project Management & Operational Excellence

Identify and manage operational improvements in our position & forecasting processes – working with FP&A & HR Partners to understand where there are opportunities to improve & align.Work as part of a project team to deliver operational improvements to all workforce management practices and support the maturity of the function to support business needs

JOB QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Work Experience

5+ years of experience in workforce management, HR analytics, or a related HR function.

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Administration, or relevant field, and/or a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification may be advantageous

Knowledge/Skills

Deep understanding of workforce management tools, HRIS systems, and digital workforce platformsKnowledge and understanding of key finance / HR processes relating to budget management and forecastingStrong capabilities in workforce analytics, including predictive modelling and scenario planning. Expertise in using data visualization tools and platforms (ideally Orgvue)Expertise in improving workforce-related processes, driving operational efficiencies, and streamlining HR operationsExcellent problem-solving capabilities and strategic thinking.

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to translate analytical data into actionable insights.
