Corning’s Values are operationalized by the HR Function through the facilitation of Talent Management offerings, as well as programs and processes that aid in making Corning’s Values visible. **Role Purpose** The Manager, Workforce Performance & Growth sits with the Talent Center of Expertise (CoE) in Corning Human Resources. In this role, you will join a highly motivated and integrated team and focus on reimagining global employee processes for the future. With a deep expertise in talent management and experience in a global CoE, you are well versed in designing impactful solutions that drive performance and growth through a positive employee experience. You will devise and promote workforce processes: Devise a performance management approach for a performance culture focused on accountability, outcome and development. Determine the best approaches to deliver feedback, coaching, and career management for employees across the organization. You will engage with employees, leaders and HR business partners at all levels of the global organization to align practices and create insights for action. **Key Responsibilities** + Design the global performance and growth framework and processes to drive workforce performance and growth. + Identify and develop progressive global workforce solutions for performance management, feedback and coaching, development planning, and career management for all employees. + Strengthen our capability to grow and engage the Corning workforce with fewer, better solutions and leverage opportunities to democratize access through technology. + Drive implementation of and provide thought-leadership and expert coaching to HR colleagues and people manager with employee solutions that drive performance and growth at scale. + Measure the return on investment and effectiveness of talent practices and articulate opportunities for continuous improvement and higher levels of business impact. **Education & Essential Requirements** + Bachelor's degree in human resources management, psychology, business administration, or a related field. + Multiple years of proven work experience in a global talent center of expertise regardless of industry and/or demonstrated measurable results in a management consultancy. + Proven ability to set direction and conceptualize global employee processes that drive large-scale business performance with impact and manage change for all stakeholder groups. + Passion for HR and workforce trends, a science and data-based talent approach, and intuitive workforce performance solutions that meet business and employee needs. + Proven ability to navigate in a matrix environment and lead others without formal authority, mobilize collaboration and effective teamwork across the organization. + Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with demonstrable ability to simplify solutions and create buy-in and alignment across geographies and units. + Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while continually identifying linkages within the wider HR function. + Strong business acumen and enterprise mindset, interpersonal, organizational and project management skills and resilience to meet multiple priorities and deadlines. + Use of data to analyze business, talent and workforce issues and ability to tell simple, clear compelling stories. Ability to identify the root cause of problems and opportunities. **Experiences/Education - Desired** + At least 8 -12 years of HR experience (generalist/specialist combined) + Master’s degree in related area and/or HR certifications + Successful track record of performance in a COE Consultant role + Work experience supporting multiple divisions / entities + Successful track record in the design, development and deployment of global HR processes or programs + Successful track record in partnering with external providers / vendor management + Six Sigma experience / PE Greenbelt certification + Strong communications skills, negotiation and strategic thinking + Able to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner + Proficient in verbal and written English language skills **Location and Travel Requirements** + This role can work from any of Corning's global locations + Up to 25% domestic and international **This position does not support immigration sponsorship.** The range for this position is $146,264.00 - $201,113.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
