Manager – Fire & safety Job ID 188950 Posted 11-Oct-2024 Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Facilities Management, Property Management Location(s) Chennai - Tamil Nadu - India **Job Responsibilities:** + Conduct Fire & Safety Risk assessment and ensure implementation of control measures and periodical monitoring. + Development of emergency plans and procedures considering various contingencies which can occur in the buildings. + Provide technical guidance and support on all Fire & Safety matters to the Building / Site Managers. + Provide advice on maintenance of all firefighting equipment, fire alarm systems, Fire extinguishing systems, fire hydrant systems etc. + Planning and developing various competency development programs for Fire Officers, Emergency Response Team members & Floor Wardens. + Carry out audits with reference to all fire & safety issues such as fire prevention / protective measures, emergency exercises etc. and render reports. + Ensure thatperiodic mock drills are conducted as per schedule. + Participating in incident / accident investigations. + Keeping Management posted of latest regulations. + Provide necessary advice to the BM/Engineers / Supervisors & Other department Managers during site visits. + To provide guidance to the building team for implementation of Fire & Safety Management system. + Ensure deployment of man power (fire staff) for each as per the approved deployment sheet. + Ensure all fire & safety personnel attending the trainings as per TNI Any other tasks assigned by the management.
