We are seeking a Private Wealth Manager to join Bernstein's Private Wealth Management office leadership team in San Francisco.

The Purpose of the Role:

The purpose of the Private Wealth Manager role is to provide passionate and responsible stewardship of employees, client experience, policies and procedures, and business strategies that lead to continuous growth and success.

What the Role Entails:

Partner with the Managing Directors and Wealth Advisors to ensure client experience excellence, office staffing and continuity, and strategic brand and market growth

Recruit, develop and manage multiple teams of Associates and Coordinators, responsible for an exceptional wealth management client experience

Drive a positive office culture through proactive engagement with Associates in areas such as capital market and industry knowledge, business operations, client interactions, and career development

Provide Supervisory Principal approval on client-related strategies in order to mitigate risk

Lead the partnership with supporting business units (i.e. portfolio management, legal, operations, etc.) to drive collaborative and impactful results for clients

Sets strategic direction for DEI initiatives and drives critical business opportunities

Participate in manager development sessions led by Senior leaders to elevate your impact in the role and position yourself for future opportunities

Job Qualifications

Ideal candidate should have knowledge of the Private Wealth Management business (services, procedures, etc.). The ideal candidate also:

Possesses strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills

Works well independently under pressure and as part of a team

Bachelor’s degree and Series 7 and 63 licenses

3+ years of financial industry managerial experience

Managers must become Series 9 and 10 licensed within six months of their start date.

Salary Disclosure

In accordance with applicable law, the minimum and maximum base annual salary for this role is as follows: Base Salary: $125,000-$130,000. Actual base salaries may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base salary is just one component of total compensation at AB, which may include, depending on eligibility, benefits, commissions, year-end incentive compensation, and other incentives.
