Key Responsibilities:

The Digital Technology Communications Manager is responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies for important DT projects and programs. This role involves working closely with DT leaders to craft narratives, develop key messages, and create communications that align with the DT team. Additionally, the position requires collaboration with the Corporate Communications team to engage the broader United audience. The individual in this role must effectively simplify complex technical information into clear and engaging content suitable for various audiences and organizational levels.

Manage the TechConnect newsletter and create engaging and informative content like articles, video storyboards, infographics, and presentations to communicate technology concepts to technical and non-technical audiencesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and coordinated messaging on technology-related topicsTranslate complex technical jargon into user-friendly language, ensuring employees at all levels of the organization can easily understand technology informationStay up to date with the latest digital technology trends, threats, and industry regulations to ensure the accuracy and relevance of communications materialsMonitor and analyze the effectiveness of technology communications initiatives, collect feedback, and make recommendations for continuous improvementCollaborate with external vendors, subject matter experts, and industry partners to gather relevant information and leverage external resources for communication purposes

Bachelors degree4 years relevant experience (editorial, UX writing, content design, content strategy)Professional writing experience (writing / editing or managing content for websites, apps, etc.)Experience working on large-scale projectsHigh-level knowledge of technology and technology toolsSelf-motivated and proactive, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasksStrong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy and consistency in all communicationsClear and persuasive communication skills, both written and verbalMust be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorshipWhat will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):Masters degree in Journalism, English, Technical WritingKnowledge of AP stylePrevious work with a big brand or large global enterprise
