Job overview and responsibilities

As part of the Contact Centers team, this individual closely work with individual application managers to ensure applications running smoothly. Recruit, interview, and hire employees while planning staffing at all levels in the department
• Lead, encourage and motivate all employees to work collaboratively to meet goals, while fulfilling their job responsibilities
• Ensure reliability, availability and performance of critical applications.
• Oversee incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortem processes to prevent future incidents.
• Drive the automation of repetitive tasks to reduce manual intervention and human error.
• Plan for future capacity needs and ensure systems can scale to handle increased traffic or usage.
• Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to track system health and performance.
• Define and track SLOs and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure service reliability and performance
• Develop and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
• Continuously improve processes and practices to enhance system reliability and team efficiency
• Mentor junior developers to ensure deliverables are on time, within budget, and with good code quality
• Demonstrate an innovative mentality by staying aware of new developments within the technology space and present solutions using new technologies to adapt to provide value to business

• Work effectively with onshore and business teams
• Effectively communicate status, issues, and risks in a precise and timely manner
• Participate in design meetings and determine technical requirements
