About the Department
The analytical QC department is located in Bagsværd and consists of 63 employees, organized into four teams. The department is responsible for a wide variety of chemical analyses on finished diabetes and obesity products (primarily HPLC/UPLC), covering release, identification, stability, validation, and customer complaint samples. We receive samples from production sites worldwide. Our laboratory operates during daytime hours on weekdays.
The QC department is part of AMSAT (Aseptic Manufacturing Science and Technology), where we collaborate closely with other laboratories and supporting functions.
We are on a transformation journey to modernize traditional QC laboratories by introducing automated processes and connecting laboratory equipment to LIMS, supporting a paperless future. In addition to new products, we are also expanding our department's capacity to support the analysis of Novo Nordisk’s new obesity products. As part of this initiative, we are building a new laboratory facility in Hillerød, where the department is expected to relocate around 2028. You will play a key role in ensuring a smooth transfer of personnel and equipment to the new facility while maintaining daily operations and driving optimization efforts.
