Job overview and responsibilitiesProvides leadership for base supervisors and flight attendants. Ensure accurate and comprehensive maintenance of flight attendant records and files. Assists the Base Director as needed. The manager ensures annual goals are met and participates in the performance review and evaluation process for each supervisor/staff member regularly providing coaching and feedback. The flight attendant supervisor and administrative positions directly relate to front line employee morale as demonstrated by the effectiveness of the supervisors promoting on-time performance of a clean, safe and reliable product and the continuation of our flight attendants’ superior customer service onboard. The base manage mentors each supervisor, as well as recruits and trains new supervisors.Performance - Manages the supervisory/ administrative staff at the base including recruiting, training, coaching, mentoring and performance managementEnsure all base and divisional goals are metServes as liaison with other departments; collaborates with other operations groups (Airport Operations, Flight Operations, etc.) to effectively manage on-time departuresProvides reporting and follow-up to base leadership on performanceCustomer and Employee Satisfaction – Responsible for the Base leadership in the bases with over 2,000 flight attendants and large management teamsSupports the base director in achieving goals in the area of safety, reliability, customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction and budgetingEnsures delivery of inflight and marketing products determined by the Inflight divisionSupports the recognition and counseling of flight attendantsFind your future at United We’re reinventing what our industry looks like, and what an airline can be – from the planes we fly to the people who fly them.
