Our Technical Operations team is full of aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities professionals, and supply chain teams that help make sure they’re well taken care of and ready to get our customers to their desired destinations. Key Responsibilities:The Manager of Aircraft Inspection will have full responsibilities of ensuring that suppliers adhere to Uniteds inspection policies procedures. Manager will have supervisory responsibility over maintenance, inspection and OSV staff and be responsible to fill in as needed for Senior Manager. Provide required inspection oversight and support of all inspection activities as required by United GMM. In addition, this position will conduct supplier base maintenance manual training to suppliers as needs. May support other air operators in the performance of maintenance and is responsible to ensure the work performed complies with the customers regulatory and maintenance program requirements.
Perform site visits at Outside Vendor Stations to work on eliminating potential non-compliance coordinate work QA to prevent quality escapesAccomplish and coordinate cross departmentally aging aircraft inspections, more than 100 inspections a yearExecute daily operation plan and follow-upMonitor and control compliance to FAA approved required inspections and other inspection tasks performedShort term guidance and direction to subordinatesApply continuous process improvement and implement process, tooling and systems improvement initiatives as appropriateAssume upgrade duties for Senior Manager for vacation coverage as neededFind your future at United We’re reinventing what our industry looks like, and what an airline can be – from the planes we fly to the people who fly them.
