The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services, Research Center or BBN team: 
 

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual within the RTX Enterprise Services – Controllership and Compliance team. This organization offers opportunity to be part of a growing accounting department and develop processes to sustain flexibility as business needs change.

What You Will do:

Oversees the fixed asset accounting team members primarily for Collins Aerospace with additional support for Pratt & Whitney and Raytheon Corporate.Responsible for oversight and approval of monthly journal entries, closing activities and account reconciliations.Oversight and coordination of routine fixed asset transactions workload (additions, disposals, transfers, etc.) and ensuring proper accounting is performed.Drive process improvements across entities and work closely with other Business Unit leads to create value for Raytheon Technologies by eliminating waste and increasing efficiency.Provide excellent customer service to Collins, Pratt & Whitney, and/or Corporate accounts, including answering questions or responding to ad hoc requests as required.Application of fixed asset policy in daily tasks and provide policy guidance to internal customers to team.Responsible for leading, growing and developing a team between 5-7 accountants through training, coaching, and creating opportunities while ensuring an inclusive work environment. Provides primary input to hiring, firing, promotion, performance and rewards decisions for direct reports.Foster talent and growth among your team along with acting as a mentor and coach to your team.

Qualifications You Must Have:

This role typically requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field and a minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years relevant experienceU.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.At least 5 years’ experience with and knowledge of current enterprise finance and accounting systems such as: HFM, SAP, JDE and month end close proceduresAt least 5 years’ experience and familiarity with US GAAP Accounting

Hybrid This is a hybrid role, eligible candidates must reside near an RTX hub (Cedar Rapids IA, Dallas TX, Tucson, AZ, Hartford CT).

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite.  Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
