**Job Summary:** This position is responsible for the hospital accounting functions of KCC and the direct oversight of the certain financial operations as may be required. **Responsibilities** **:** + Assist in preparation of financial projections and annual budgets thru coordination with departmental directors and managers. + Oversight of month end interfaces and journal entries for hospital transactions, including, but not limited to, patient service revenue and accounts receivables, purchased services from DMC, medical supply expenses. + Preparation and distribution of month end reports, statements and schedules to hospital departments. + Assist hospital department directors and managers in analyzing financial operations and reports. + Maintain understanding and documentation on the patient services revenue cycle and implement procedures to monitor the timely and accurate recording of transactions that directly impact the financial statements and records. **Qualifications:** + A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in accounting with a minimum of five years progressive work experience in the field of hospital accounting is required including previous management experience. + Previous experience with hospital reimbursement or previous CPA experience is highly recommended. + Proficiency in Excel and flexibility to learn KCI accounting systems is a must.
