Shellpoint Mortgage Servicing (SMS) is one of America’s top-five non-bank mortgage-servicing companies. What is mortgage servicing? Our clients are businesses that own mortgage loans (such as banks and real estate investment firms). On their behalf, we manage (or “service”) their loan portfolios, which means that we collect homeowners’ mortgage payments, pay their tax and insurance bills, and help homeowners in default to get current.
 

Primary Function

The Manager, Application Development will manage day to day responsibilities for the implementation on, maintenance, development and enhancement of enterprise applications including but not limited to Office 365, Active Directories, server monitoring, and Citrix.  With regard to the applications, incumbent will manage the functional and detail design requirements documentation, programming languages,  change management, and quality assurance processes. Collaborate with others to produce the appropriate documentation, estimates, and other artifacts to complete work on time, within budget, and within scope. Manage, train, mentor and guide staff.

Principal DutiesManage team responsible for enterprise applications: Office 365, Active Directories, Citrix, Commvault, and Logic MonitorPerform hands on support for enterprise applications with ability to provide technical guidance as well as perform where neededWork with project participants to maximize productivity, effectiveness and timely completion.Provide training and guidance to less experienced personnel.Work independently with minimal direct supervision; exercise independent judgment to obtain results.Consult with senior level management when issues require it.Manage issues where analysis of data requires the evaluation of intangibles.Share information willingly when appropriate; recognize confidential information and handle with discretion.Manage special projects as assigned.Education and Experience Requirements  6-8 years in a structured environment working on systems, applications, programming, development, testing, implementation and deployment required.5+ years of IT Operations Engineering management experience necessaryMortgage Servicing industry experience.Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology related field and/or related field and/or equivalent experience

Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements  Experienced with Office 365, Active Directories, Citrix, Commvault, and Logic Monitor
