Job Description & Summary

At PwC, our people in audit and assurance focus on providing independent and objective assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and other assurable information enhancing the credibility and reliability of this information with a variety of stakeholders. They evaluate compliance with regulations including assessing governance and risk management processes and related controls.

In financial statement audit at PwC, you will focus on obtaining reasonable assurance about whether the financial statements as a whole are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error, and to issue an auditor’s report that includes the auditor’s opinion.

You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team member’s unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations. With your growing knowledge of how business works, you play an important role in identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our Firm. About the role

The CIPS Waterfall division is looking for an Experienced Audit Manager with a strong auditing background. The ideal candidate will need to have experience on Large Clients in the industry. 


Essential skills and experience
3 years or more post article experience.

Required qualifications
CA(SA)

Desirable skills or attributes 

Specialist industry knowledge IFRS experience

Display sound leadership skills

Computer literate with al PwC software

Ability to market PwC services and to establish contacts in the market place

Self – motivated

High attention to detail
