Position Summary

To be a technology expert architecting solutions and mentoring people in BI / Reporting processes with prior expertise in the Pharma domain.

Job Responsibilities

AWS Cloud Infra/DevOps Admin

 

To be an expert in setting up new environments, AWS Cloud infrastructure and/or DevOps tools. Should have an overall 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in operationalizing and automating AWS Infra and DevOps release process using advanced tools in AWS cloud.

 

Your responsibilities include but not limited to: -

Designing, Installing , Configuring , maintaining, and monitoring relevant AWS Services (along with monitoring utilities). Build / Setup new utilities for efficiently managing AWS services for any implementation. Admin support for AWS services used in the project. Implement different solutions to optimize the monthly AWS costs. Monitor AWS usage and generate monthly and weekly reports. Define and monitor S3 lifecycle policy for existing and new S3 objects. Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools. Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline). Play the role of central liaison between Client , Development team, Operations team and AWS Cloud support team for any support required for AWS cloud. Provide expert consultation and best practices to customers and internal stakeholders. Perform hands-on research on new AWS services, as they are made available through AWS partnership and suggest ways for them to be used in existing solution. Perform Performance Tuning of RDS databases (Oracle, Mysql, MSSQL etc.) and Redshift Perform Capacity Management, Sizing and TCO Calculation for Databases and Servers to be procured with AWS. Define Governance (including Backup and Recovery Policy) for the Big data platform environments using AWS. Manage, monitor and performance tune Matillion servers. Education BE/B.TechMaster of Computer ApplicationWork Experience Overall, 4 -6 years of experience as AWS Cloud Infrastructure Administrator role and/or DevOps developer and should be ready to work in night shifts if required. Good admin experience in debugging and configuring AWS services like EC2, ECR, EMR, S3, EKS, Redshift, Lamba, Cloudwatch, Redshift, SQS, RDS, Aurora etc. Hands-on experience is  serverless deployments using ECS Fargate/ Kubernetes etc. Experience in creating Multi-Cluster Snowflake/Redshift warehouses. Creating Roles with Access control privileges (DML/DDL/DCL) to access the database to work on Hands on experience in Unix, Ansible and Python scripting languages Good experience in automation of  CI/CD pipelines using GitHub/Jenkins, Bitbucket etc. Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles.
