Manager - Barge Operations
Supervise marine fuel loading into barges and unloading at designated ports, ensuring efficiency and compliance with standards. Implement optimized loading and unloading schedules to minimize downtime and enhance operational as well as cost efficiency. Ensure top class upkeep of the Barge(s) Develop and implement stringent quality control measures to ensure marine fuels delivered by barge meet specified standards and comply with industry regulations. Conduct regular quality inspections during loading, transit, and unloading processes to uphold high-quality standards. Monitor and manage the accurate measurement of quantities loaded and unloaded, utilizing precision measurement tools and techniques and implement quantity verification processes at key checkpoints to prevent discrepancies. Minimum 5Years experience of working/sailing on Bunker tanker or small tanker vessel Comprehensive understanding of the propulsion and auxiliary systems, including all engines and their parts Technical knowledge of vessel main engine and its parts and machinery  Knowledge of marine mechanical and electrical system Ability to use, repair and maintain machines and tools Knowledge of latest engineering standards, regulations and best practices Experience of vessel dry-docking Coordinate with supply vessels and vessel agents for shipping operations related to the delivery of Marine Fuels, including performance monitoring  Closely supervision and coordination with technical manager of Barge(s) Advance planning of operations during unfavourable weather conditions Maintain systematic documentation for regulatory compliance. Manage operational support services, optimizing processes with the sales team. Manage the barge as a floating terminal, overseeing its day-to-day operations, maintenance, and safety protocols Ensure strict compliance of SOPs & Safety Manual Collaborate with relevant teams to optimize floating terminal logistics, ensuring timely fuel deliveries and efficient use of resources Maintain effective communication with port authorities and other stakeholders to coordinate barge movements Optimize routing decisions and ensure safe navigation during barge movements Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, safety protocols, environmental laws, and supervise third-party crew for safety and efficiency. Ensure barge related certifications are in place, in coordination with authorities like DG (Directorate General of shipping) and IRS, etc Implement an effective MIS reporting system to track and report key performance indicators, including loading/unloading times, fuel quality metrics, and compliance data. Regularly provide detailed reports to relevant stakeholders, facilitating data-driven decision-making Barge utilisation report

MBA / Post-Graduate / Graduate/ Marine Engineer 

Working experience on a tanker vessel. Atleast 5 years of experience
